Refund Policy
We want every filmmaker to feel good about what they bought. Here’s how refunds work, in plain language.
Prep’d Film subscriptions (Solo, Student, Studio and Production, monthly or yearly)
- 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for a plan. Email us within 14 days and we’ll refund it in full, as long as you haven’t downloaded included planners, tools or documents or used an activation key in that time.
- Accounts closed for sharing a sign-in or reselling products aren’t refunded.
- The $59 Tax Incentive Tracker add-on can be refunded within 14 days if you haven’t sent an award-letter packet with it.
- Renewals aren’t refundable, and we don’t refund unused time. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- When a paid plan ends, your account goes back to the Free plan and your films stay saved.
Planners and templates (downloads)
The Inbound System, Before the Money, Money’s In and The Complete Bundle are digital downloads, so they can’t be returned once they’ve been downloaded. All sales are final, except:
- A file doesn’t work: email us and we’ll fix it or send a working copy. If we can’t, we’ll refund you.
- You were charged twice or bought the same product twice by mistake: we’ll refund the duplicate.
- You bought a single planner, then the Bundle within 14 days: we’ll refund the single planner so you don’t pay twice.
Paperbacks
Printed books bought on Amazon follow Amazon’s return policy. Please contact Amazon for returns.
How to ask for a refund
Email [support email, e.g. support@prepdfilm.com] with the email you used to buy and your order number. We reply within 2 business days, and refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. It’s faster, and we’re happy to help.
Where the law in your country or state gives you more rights than this policy, those rights apply.
